Here at The Keighley Bus Company, we're proud to have invested over £2 million in new, locally-built buses this year which are already starting to earn their keep around our town!
Here at The Keighley Bus Company, we're proud to have been serving our town since 1901. We recently changed our name to reflect on our local roots, as well as making other changes including simpler, easy-to-remember numbers for our services.
The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA), alongside local bus operators, are holding public drop-in sessions to talk about the plans for bus travel in West Yorkshire over the next 20 years. Together, we are developing a twenty year vision for an integrated transport network that supports sustained and healthy economic growth throughout the Leeds city region and beyond.
Employees have been invited to try our bus services across the North as we get behind, Catch the Bus Week, a national campaign to boost bus travel.
Here at Transdev, we are really keen to stay true to our roots as the local bus company in Keighley. Us and our predecessors have been serving the town since 1902. Our new name of The Keighley Bus Company is all about that and more - showing off how proud we are to serve the thousands of you who travel on our services across our town and beyond. And it's not just about looking back, but looking forward too - there's £2 million worth of amazing new buses hitting the streets with free wifi, USB power and many other great new features. We want to make getting about even simpler and easier as well - so there'll be a few changes, and easy-to-remember numbers from 24 July.
We're invading local employers across the north to spread the word about Catch the Bus Week.
We've started to take delivery of our £4 million order of new buses which have all been designed and manufactured in Yorkshire at innovative bus specialists Optare. The 28 single deck Versa and Solo buses, which pride themselves on having the very latest on-board technology, will go into service across Yorkshire and Lancashire from the end of June.
