Explore > Towneley Hall & Park
Home to the Towneley family until 1902, the hall today houses a local history museum free to residents of Burnley. Outside the gardens are now a large popular park. There is an 18 hole golf course, formal gardens, woodland walk featuring sculptures from natural materials and the Offshoots permaculture project. Food is available at the Old Stables Cafe and Restaurant.
Towneley Hall is used by Spot On Rural Touring Network as a venue to make arts more accessible to rural communities. Their programme includes music, dance, theatre and children's shows. For more information visit their website
